Set in this lovely and historic village, reached by an avenue of lime trees and home to Catherine Parr, the last wife of Henry VIII. The castle is still lived in today and has a beautiful little chapel which holds regular services. Thorpe Perrow with its arboretum, woodland walks, visitor centre and teashop is literally next door and the whole of the Dales is within easy reach- There is a village pub serving good food and one farm shop for local produce within walking distance.
